Open Studios Sneak Peek

This week, I'm finishing up 4 pieces on glass for my Open Studios happening October 14-16th. Here's a sneak peek at work in progress:

The Big Day

The Big Day commission painting went out a couple of weeks ago, and arrived in Colorado to commemorate the birth of a new baby boy. I'm honored for my artwork to be part of a child's early life. Hurray! Best wishes to the family! Painting is 36x36 inches, acrylic and epoxy on cradled wood.

Machine Elves

ArtSpan Open Studios starts with
Artlaunch Thursday, September 29th 6:30 to 9:00pm.

Premier Artists each display one piece at SomArts to give people a feel for which artists' studios they might want to visit. Generally everything is for sale, with pick-up at the end of the month.

Today I helped with final touches getting the gallery ready.
Here it is empty, but tomorrow it will be filled with art for the exhibition!

FUNframer

FUNframer just added Johnny Botts images to their website! You pick a style, pick a photo, and it combines them for fun! They also have themes with ninjas, critters, hearts, and more. Very cool!

This birdhouse is in the tree in front of our house. Our neighbor supplied birdhouses to many of the trees along our street. Love them!
