
I was thinking of a classic 60's flight attendant when I titled this piece. She's soft, polished, and coiffed, efficiently serving travelers who dressed up to fly. Back then, hard-cased luggage had tiny rollers and tether straps, and being a stewardess was a glamorous career.
This painting will be among 140 original works by established and emerging San Francisco artists at Artspan's Benefit Art Show & Auction, Saturday, March 27th.
Sip luscious cocktails and nibble on hors d'oeuvres while bidding on fabulous, affordable local art. Proceeds will benefit Artspan's programs, including Art for City Youth, and SF Open Studios. There will be silent auctions throughout the evening, and a special live auction too. Creative cocktail attire encouraged!
