Leaving Burning Man last year, I listened to one of the BRC pirate radio stations as my truck crawled to the exit for 3 hours. They played a long stretch of David Bowie songs from years ago that brought back poignant memories. I was alone for my drive and a little sad for the week to be over, so the songs seemed perfectly suited. Lyrics from “Moonage Daydream” provide the title for this painting: “Keep your “lectric Eye on Me.” Cyclop always seems to want to be upside down.
